House System

Students​ ​are​ ​divided​ ​into​ ​four​ ​houses​ ​like​ ​

The House System inculcates in the students the values of team spirit, commitment, loyalty, sharing and healthy competition. Points are awarded to students through out the year for co-curricular activities.

All​ ​the​ ​houses​ shall​ perform​ the​​ following​ duties​​ by​ rotation.

• To​ conduct​ the​​ Morning​ Assembly
• To​ prepare​ ​for​ ​News​ ​Reading
• To​ deliver​ ​Thought

Rigel Red

The Rigel is the seventh star in the sky and the brightest star in the constellation of origin. It is the name of our red house students. The assembly activities will be held by the rigel students rotationally. They give informative speeches, sing beautiful songs and share their thoughts on the special occasions.

Sirius Blue

To inspire a healthy sense of competition students have been allocated one of the four houses which symbolize the school values. The four houses are named after bright stars.

Sirius : It is the brightest star in the sky and nearer to sun.

Significance of Blue colour: It symbolizes trust, loyalty wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth and heaven. Blue is considered beneficial to the mind. So to inculcate these qualities in students blue is one of our house colour.

Canopus Green

Green is the colour of nature and energy and is associated with growth, harmony, freshness and environment. The students of this house participate actively in all activities like sports, music, yoga etc.. enthusiastically bringing success in their path.

Vega Yellow

Vega also called Alpha Lyrae, brightest star in the northern constellation lyra and fifth brightest in the night sky, with a visual magnitude of 0.03. It also one of the sun's closer neighbours at a distance of about 25 light years. Vega's spectral type is is a (white) and its huminco sity class V.

Significance of Yellow: It is associated with joy, happiness, intellect and energy. The colour produces a warming effect arouses cheerfulness, stimulates mental activity and generates muscle energy. It is generally associated with food and is an attention getter.
